Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly

Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly

____________________ Andi Alpers is consumed by depression as she deals with her younger brother's death and her parent's divorce. When she travels to Paris with her father and finds the diary of a girl during the French Revolution, she feels an inexplicable connection. With brilliant use of music and history, Donnely tells a gripping story of these two young women. Because of some of the darker themes, I would recommend this for older teen readers (16+).
