Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier

Wildwood Dancing is an interesting depiction of The Twelve Dancing Princesses and The Frog Prince. It presents these two fairy tales with a different perspective, a compelling story and wonderful characters. Wildwood Dancing includes mystery, romance, and fantasy, but in a much brighter setting than the current teen paranormal romance. Because of the depth of the story, this one is great for older readers (14-18) with the intrigue and fantasy of Twilight, but a much stronger story and more interesting characters.
